WHAM Reminders

 Welcome Back to WHAM
We had a FANTASTIC first few days and are looking forward to an AMAZING school year.  It is truly an honor to partner with you in your child`s education. 
Please see the following reminders for the upcoming week.

• Carpool is going well.  Thank you for your patience.  Please keep your carpool number visible in your window until your car is loaded. All parents should remain in your car and proceed through the carpool line at dismissal. Student check outs end at 3 pm. 
• Magnet Ambassador Essay information will be sent home on Wednesday, August 14th with students in grades 3-5. All students interested in serving as a WHAM Ambassador should submit their essay and application by August 22nd. 
• Open House is next Thursday, August 22nd from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm.   Two sessions will be provided for parents.  The sessions will run from 4:40-5:25 and 5:30-6:15. Multiple sessions are offered to support families with more than one child at WHAM, but you only need to attend one. This is an opportunity for you to hear about classroom expectations, routines, and procedures.  
• The PTO will begin their annual World`s Finest Chocolate Sale during Open House on August 22nd.   You will be able to take chocolate home with you that night.
