Today the students at WHAM had an opportunity to learn about  "Mike the Tiger".  Ginger Guttner, LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, shared information about Mike including his:   habitat, daily regimen, where he was born, diet etc.  The students took a trip through the history of Mike I- VII.  What a great way to kick off the football season and learn some very interesting information! 

Due to safety reasons and the potential for severe weather, East Baton Rouge Parish Schools will be closed for all students and employees on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

Mrs. Cooke's fourth grade class gave me a quick lesson on latitude, longitude, physical maps, and political maps. Everyone had an awesome time reviewing map skills!
